(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَطِيَّةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " آذَنَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالرَّحِيلِ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ ، فِي لَيْلَتَيْنِ خَلَتَا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ، فَخَرَجْنَا صُوَّامًا ، حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغْنَا الْكَدِيدَ ، فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْفِطْرِ ، فَأَصْبَحَ النَّاسُ مِنْهُمْ الصَّائِمُ ، وَمِنْهُمْ الْمُفْطِرُ ، حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَدْنَى مَنْزِلٍ تِلْقَاءَ الْعَدُوِّ أَمَرَنَا بِالْفِطْرِ ، فَأَفْطَرْنَا أَجْمَعِينَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us about the departure on the second day of Ramadan. We set out while fasting. When we reached the place of Kudayd, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to break our fast. In the morning, some people kept fasting and some did not. When we reached before the enemy and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to break our fast, then all of us broke our fast.
