(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ رَجُلًا رَهْبَةُ النَّاسِ ، إِنْ عَلِمَ حَقًّا أَنْ يَقُومَ بِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The awe and fear of people should not prevent any of you from speaking the truth, when he is certain of it.
