(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " قَالَ إِبْلِيسُ : أَيْ رَبِّ ، لَا أَزَالُ أُغْوِي بَنِي آدَمَ مَا دَامَتْ أَرْوَاحُهُمْ فِي أَجْسَادِهِمْ , قَالَ : فَقَالَ الرَّبُّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : لَا أَزَالُ أَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَغْفَرُونِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Satan said, "O Lord! By Your honor, I will continue to mislead Your servants as long as their souls remain in their bodies." And the Lord of the worlds said, "By My honor and majesty! I will continue to forgive them as long as they keep seeking forgiveness from Me."
