(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَوْ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اشْتَكَى ، فَأَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ ، فَقَالَ : " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ ، مِنْ كُلِّ حَاسِدٍ وَعَيْنٍ ، اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill, so Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "I recite over you in the name of Allah, from every thing that harms you, and from the evil of every envious one, and from the evil eye. May Allah grant you healing."
