(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَوْ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَدِمْنَا مع رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَصْرُخُ بِالْحَجِّ صُرَاخًا ، فَلَمَّا طُفْنَا بِالْبَيْتِ ، قَالَ : " اجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً " ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ التَّرْوِيَةِ ، أَحْرَمْنَا بِالْحَجِّ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that we set out on the Hajj journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Throughout the journey, we recited the Talbiyah for Hajj aloud, but when we had performed the Tawaf of the House of Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Make it Umrah." Thus, when the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah came, we recited the Talbiyah for Hajj.
