(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَبِيعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ ، لَا يَشِفُّ بَعْضُهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ ، وَلَا تَبِيعُوا الْوَرِقَ بِالْوَرِقِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ ، لَا يَشِفُّ بَعْضُهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ ، وَلَا تَبِيعُوا غَائِبًا بِنَاجِزٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sell gold for gold and silver for silver in equal amounts, do not increase or decrease in them, and do not sell any of them that is absent for one that is present.
