A person asked Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) about the ritual bath (ghusl) after sexual impurity. He replied: Pour water over the body three times. The person said: I have a lot of hair on my head. Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had more and more fragrant hair than you, (yet he would still pour water over his body three times).
