(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ بْنَ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ : أَنَّ أَهْلَ قُرَيْظَةَ لَمَّا نَزَلُوا عَلَى حُكْمِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ أرسل إليه رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَجَاءَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قُومُوا إِلَى سَيِّدِكُمْ " أَوْ إِلَى خَيْرِكُمْ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ نَزَلُوا عَلَى حُكْمِكَ " , قَالَ : إِنِّي أَحْكُمُ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ مُقَاتِلَتُهُمْ ، وَتُسْبَى ذَرَارِيُّهُمْ ، قَالَ : " لَقَدْ حَكَمْتَ بِحُكْمِ الْمَلِكِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the people of Banu Qurayza agreed to surrender on the decision of Hazrat Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent for Hazrat Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him). He came riding on his mount. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Stand up to welcome your leader." Then he said to him, "These people are ready to surrender on your decision." He submitted, "You should have their fighting men killed and their children taken as captives." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You have given the same decision as Allah's decision."
