(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو نَضْرَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيّ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْوَتْرِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about Witr, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Offer Witr before the morning.
