It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once on a Friday we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a Bedouin man entered Masjid Nabawi. At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon from the pulpit. The man sat at the back. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Have you prayed two rak'ahs?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to pray two rak'ahs, so he came near the pulpit and performed two rak'ahs.
