(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الْحُسَامِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا مَشَى فِي خِرَافِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ اسْتَنْقَعَ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ وُكِّلَ بِهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever goes to visit a sick person, it is as if he is walking in the gardens of Paradise. When he sits by the sick person, he immerses himself in the ocean of Allah's mercy, and when he returns from there, seventy thousand angels are appointed for him who continue to pray for his forgiveness that day."
