(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ , عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ سُلَيْمٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْغُسْلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ ، وَالسِّوَاكَ ، وَأَنْ يَمَسَّ مِنَ الطِّيبِ مَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the day of Jumu'ah, it is obligatory upon every adult person to perform ghusl, use the miswak, and apply perfume according to his means, even if it is from his own house.
