(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ الْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَيَلْبَسُ مِنْ صَالِحِ ثِيَابِهِ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ طِيبٌ مَسَّ مِنْهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the day of Friday, it is obligatory for every adult person to perform ghusl (ritual bath), and that he should wear fine clothes on this day, and if available, he should also apply perfume.
