(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، قَالَ : غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَكَ وَخَيْبَرَ ، قَالَ : فَفَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ فَدَكَ وَخَيْبَرَ ، فَوَقَعَ النَّاسُ فِي بَقْلَةٍ لَهُمْ ، هَذَا الثُّومُ وَالْبَصَلُ ، قَالَ : فَرَاحُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَوَجَدَ رِيحَهَا ، فَتَأَذَّى بِهِ ، ثُمَّ عَادَ الْقَوْمُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلَا لَا تَأْكُلُوهُ ، فَمَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا ، فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَجْلِسَنَا " . قَالَ : وَوَقَعَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فِي لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ ، وَنَصَبُوا الْقُدُورَ ، وَنَصَبْتُ قِدْرِي فِيمَنْ نَصَبَ ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ ، أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ " ، مَرَّتَيْنِ ، فَأُكْفِئَتْ الْقُدُورُ ، فَكَفَأْتُ قِدْرِي فِيمَنْ كَفَأَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that we participated with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the battles of Fadak and Khyber. Allah granted victory to His Messenger on both occasions. The people ate garlic and onions in abundance. When it was time for prayer and they gathered in the mosque near the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he was troubled by their smell. When the people ate it again, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not eat it. Whoever eats from it should not come near our gathering. Similarly, on the occasion of the battle of Khyber, people also obtained the meat of domesticated donkeys and put pots on the fire, and my pot was among them. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed of this, he said twice: I forbid you from this. Upon this, all the pots were overturned, and my pot was among them.
