It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a silk garment was sent as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from somewhere. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent it to me. I wore it and went outside, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That which I dislike for myself, I cannot like for you either." Thus, on the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I divided it among my women, that is, Sayyida Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and her aunt.
