(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ النَّارَ ، قَالَ : يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ مِنْ إِيمَانٍ فَأَخْرِجُوهُ ، قَالَ : فَيُخْرَجُونَ قَدْ امْتَحَشُوا ، وَعَادُوا فَحْمًا ، فَيُلْقَوْنَ فِي نَهَرٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ : نَهَرُ الْحَيَاةِ ، فَيَنْبُتُونَ فِيهِ كَمَا تَنْبُتُ الْحِبَّةُ فِي حَمِيلِ السَّيْلِ ، أَوْ قَالَ فِي حَمِيلَةِ السَّيْلِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّهَا تَنْبُتُ صَفْرَاءَ مُلْتَوِيَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the people of Paradise will enter Paradise, Allah Almighty will say: Take out from Hell anyone who has in his heart even a mustard seed's weight of faith. When they will be taken out from there, they will have been burnt and turned into coal. Then those people will be washed in a special river called the River of Life, and they will grow just as a seed grows in the flow of a flood. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Just consider, a tree is first green and then it turns yellow.
