(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِئَةُ رَحْمَةٍ ، فَقَسَمَ مِنْهَا جُزْءًا وَاحِدًا بَيْنَ الْخَلْقِ ، فَبِهِ يَتَرَاحَمُ النَّاسُ ، وَالْوَحْشُ ، وَالطَّيْرُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has one hundred mercies, out of which Allah has sent down only one mercy upon all jinn, humans, and animals. Because of this one mercy, they show kindness and compassion to one another, and even wild animals show mercy to their offspring due to this one mercy.
