Hadith 11519

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ حَبَّانَ بْنِ وَاسِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ ، فَلْيَجْعَلْ طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you prays in a single garment, he should place its two ends over his shoulders.
