Hadith 11513

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّكَ قَدْ أَحْدَثْتَ ، فَلْيَقُلْ : كَذَبْتَ ، مَا لَمْ يَجِدْ رِيحًا بِأَنْفِهِ ، أَوْ يَسْمَعْ صَوْتًا بِأُذُنِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Satan comes to any one of you and says, "Your ablution is broken," then say to him, "You are lying," unless he smells an odor in his nose or his ears hear its sound.
