Hadith 115

(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، وَضَمْرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ ، قَالَا : قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ : " مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى هَدْيِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that whoever wants to see the character of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he should look at the character of Amr bin Aswad.
