Hadith 11496

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ ، فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ ، فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the heat becomes intense, perform the prayer at a cooler time, because the severity of heat is due to the effect of Hell.
