Hadith 11490

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : الْأَعْمَشُ حَدَّثَنَا ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ فِي الْحَرِّ ، فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَوْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " , هَكَذَا قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ : مِنْ فَوْحِ جَهَنَّمَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (When the heat becomes intense) perform the Zuhr prayer at a cooler time, because the intensity of heat is due to the effect of the heat of Hell.
