(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْجَنَازَةَ فَقُومُوا ، فَمَنْ تَبِعَهَا فَلَا يَقْعُدْ حَتَّى تُوضَعَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see a funeral, stand up, and whoever accompanies the funeral should not sit down before the funeral is placed on the ground.
