Hadith 11416

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " تَكُونُ أُمَّتِي فِرْقَتَيْنِ ، يَخْرُجُ بَيْنَهُمَا مَارِقَةٌ يَلِي قَتْلَهَا أَوْلَاهُمَا بِالْحَقِّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My ummah will be divided into two groups, and from among them a group will emerge, which will be killed by the faction that is closer to the truth among those two groups.
