Hadith 11415

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " أَمَرَنَا نَبِيُّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَقْرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ ، وَمَا تَيَسَّرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to recite Surah Al-Fatihah and whatever other Surah is easy for us in prayer.
