Hadith 11386

(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ هَبَطَ ، فَيَقُولُ : هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَيُعْطَى ، هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ ، هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَيُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ ؟ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When one third of the night passes, Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven and announces: Who is there to supplicate to Me so that I may accept his supplication? Who is there to seek forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him? Who is there to ask from Me so that I may grant him?
