Abu Nazr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) was experiencing pain in his foot. He was lying down with one leg placed over the other when one of his brothers came and struck the same leg in which he was feeling pain. This increased his pain, and he said, "Do you not know that I am having pain in my foot?" He replied, "Why not." Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "Then why did you do this?" He said, "Have you not heard that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has forbidden lying in this manner?"
