It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible for a wealthy person to take charity (zakat), except in the case where his neighbor is poor and invites him, and he eats food at his place, or (he takes it) in jihad in the way of Allah, or in the state of travel."
