Hadith 11338

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ دَرَّاجًا أَبَا السَّمْحِ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا رَضِيَ عَنِ الْعَبْدِ أَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعَةَ أَصْنَافٍ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ لَمْ يَعْمَلْهُ ، وَإِذَا سَخِطَ عَلَى الْعَبْدِ أَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعَةَ أَصْنَافٍ مِنَ الشَّرِّ لَمْ يَعْمَلْهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When Allah is pleased with a servant, He turns towards him with seven good deeds which he had not done before, and when He is displeased with a servant, He turns towards him with seven evil deeds which he had not done before.
