Hadith 11323

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيَضَعْ يَدَهُ عَلَى فِيهِ ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ مَعَ التَّثَاؤُبِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If any of you yawns, he should place his hand over his mouth, for the devil will enter his mouth.
