Hadith 11317

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a man bought some fruit, but he suffered a loss in it and incurred a large debt. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to give charity to him. People gave him charity, but it was not enough to pay off his debts. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered his creditors and said, "Take what is being given to you; you will not get anything more than this."
