It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man making his mount circle around in front of the people. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has an extra mount should give it to the one who has no mount, and whoever has extra provisions should give them to the one who has none at all, until we began to think that we had no right to anything extra.
