(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي زُهْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى الْجُهَنِيِّ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، فَدَخَلَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ مَرْوَانُ : أَسَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنِ النَّفْخِ فِي الشَّرَابِ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ : فَإِنِّي لَا أُرْوَى بِنَفَسٍ وَاحِدٍ ، قَالَ : " أَبِنْهُ عَنْ فِيكَ ، ثُمَّ تَنَفَّسْ " ، قَالَ : فَإِنْ رَأَيْتُ قَذَاءً ؟ قَالَ : " فَأَهْرِقْهُ " .
Abu al-Muthanna (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I was sitting with Marwan when Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) also came. Marwan asked him, "Have you heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding breathing into drinks?" He replied, "Yes!" A man said, "I cannot quench my thirst in one breath, what should I do?" He said, "Separate the vessel from your mouth and then breathe." He said, "If I see a straw or something in it, should I not blow into it?" He replied, "Pour it out."
