Hadith 11277

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ : " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ ، قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ : أَظُنُّهُ فِي شَرَابٍ ، فَضَرَبَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَعْلَيْنِ أَرْبَعِينَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man intoxicated with wine was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) struck him with forty shoes.
