(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَنِينِ يَكُونُ فِي بَطْنِ النَّاقَةِ ، أَوْ الْبَقَرَةِ ، أَوْ الشَّاةِ ، فَقَالَ : " كُلُوهُ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ ، فَإِنَّ ذَكَاتَهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the ruling if the offspring of a she-camel, cow, or goat dies in its womb. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you wish, you may eat it, because the slaughtering of its mother is in fact its slaughtering as well.
