Abu Sa'id, may Allah have mercy on him, who was the freed slave of Mahri, says: When my brother passed away, I went to Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, and said, "O Abu Sa'id! My brother has passed away, and he has left behind children. I also have my own children, and we do not have any money. I am thinking of taking my children and my brother's children and moving to another city so that our livelihood may become stable." He replied, "I am sorry for your thinking. Do not leave from here, because I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever is patient with the hardships and difficulties of Madinah, I will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection."
