(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The obligation of ghusl (ritual bath) is due to the discharge of the fluid of life.
