(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صُهَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " اشْتَكَيْتَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ " ، قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " ، قَالَ : " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ وَعَيْنٍ يَشْفِيكَ ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Jibreel came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked, "O Muhammad! Have you fallen ill?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Yes!" Upon this, Hazrat Jibreel said, "I recite over you in the name of Allah, from every thing that harms you, and from the evil of every soul and the evil eye. May Allah grant you healing. I recite over you in the name of Allah."
