It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once there arose a difference of opinion between two men from Banu Khudrah and Banu Amr bin Awf regarding the identification of that mosque which was founded on piety from the very first day. The opinion of the man from Amr was regarding Masjid Quba, and the opinion of the man from Khudri was regarding Masjid Nabawi. Both of them came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked about it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), deciding the matter, said: "What is meant is my mosque, and there is abundant good in Masjid Quba."
