(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا نَضْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أنه قَالَ : " إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا ، لِيَنْظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ ، فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ ، فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ فِتْنَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَتْ فِي النِّسَاءِ " .
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The world is lush, green, and sweet. Allah will make you successors in it to see what deeds you perform. Beware! Fear the world and fear women, for the first trial for the Children of Israel was through women.
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the people of Banu Qurayza agreed to surrender their weapons on the decision of Hazrat Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him). (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent for Hazrat Saad bin Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him), and he came riding his mount. When he reached near the mosque, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Stand up to welcome your leader. Then he said to him: These people are ready to surrender their weapons on your decision.) He submitted: You should have their fighting men killed and their children taken as captives. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You have given the same decision as Allah’s decision. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
