Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you passes by a camel and wishes to drink its milk, he should call the owner three times. If the owner comes, then very good, otherwise he may drink its milk. Similarly, when any one of you enters a garden and starts to eat, he should call the owner of the garden three times. If the owner comes, then very good, otherwise he may eat alone." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that hospitality is for three days, so whatever is beyond (three days) is charity.
