Hadith 1111

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " اطْلُبُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ ، مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَإِنْ غُلِبْتُمْ فَلَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan. If you are unable to do so in the entire ten nights, then do not be overcome in seeking it in the last seven nights (make sure to seek it in the last seven nights)."
