(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ النَّارَ ، يُجَاءُ بِالْمَوْتِ كَأَنَّهُ كَبْشٌ أَمْلَحُ ، فَيُوقَفُ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ ، فَيُقَالُ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ ، هَلْ تَعْرِفُونَ هَذَا ؟ ، قَالَ : فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ ، فَيَنْظُرُونَ ، وَيَقُولُونَ : نَعَمْ ، هَذَا الْمَوْتُ ، قَالَ : فَيُقَالُ : يَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ ، هَلْ تَعْرِفُونَ هَذَا ؟ ، قَالَ : فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ ، فَيَنْظُرُونَ ، وَيَقُولُونَ : نَعَمْ ، هَذَا الْمَوْتُ ، قَالَ : فَيُؤْمَرُ بِهِ ، فَيُذْبَحُ ، قَالَ : وَيُقَالُ : يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ ، وَيَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ " ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنْذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ سورة مريم آية 39 ، قَالَ : وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ ، قَالَ : مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ في غفلة ، قال : أهل الدنيا في غفلة الدنيا ، قال : محمد بن عبيد في حديثه : إِذَا دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ النَّارَ ، يُجَاءُ بِالْمَوْتِ كَأَنَّهُ كَبْشٌ أَمْلَحُ .
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the people of Paradise will enter Paradise and the people of Hell will enter Hell, then death will be brought in the form of a ram and will be made to stand on the Bridge of Sirat. The people of Paradise will be called and they will look out in fear, thinking that perhaps they are being taken out of Paradise. Then it will be asked of them, "Do you recognize this?" They will say, "Yes! This is death." Then, by Allah's command, it will be slaughtered on the Bridge of Sirat, and both groups will be told, "You will remain forever in the state you are in; there will never be death for you." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And warn them of the Day of Regret when the matter will be decided, and they are in heedlessness." Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured with his hand. Muhammad bin Ubaid, in his narration, says that the people of the world remained in the heedlessness of their worldly life.
