Hadith 11022

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ وَعَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ " ، أَمَّا الْبَيْعَتَانِ : الْمُلَامَسَةُ ، وَالْمُنَابَذَةُ ، وَاللِّبْسَتَانِ : اشْتِمَالُ الصَّمَّاءِ ، وَالِاحْتِبَاءُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ، لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two types of clothing and two types of transactions. By transactions is meant mulamasah and munabadah, and by clothing is meant wrapping oneself in only one sheet, or sitting in such a way in one garment with the knees drawn up that the private parts are not covered by any cloth.
