It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The awe and fear of people should not prevent any of you from speaking the truth when he sees it, witnesses it, or hears it." Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "I wish I had not heard this hadith."
