Hadith 1100

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَيْفُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَكِّيُّ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمَّا نَحَرَ الْبُدْنَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ بِلُحُومِهَا وَجُلُودِهَا وَجِلَالِهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered the camels, he ordered me to distribute their skins and saddlecloths as well as their meat.
