(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
هَمَّامٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا
ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ
أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ
أَبَا بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي الْغَارِ ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً : وَنَحْنُ فِي الْغَارِ : لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ نَظَرَ إِلَى قَدَمَيْهِ لَأَبْصَرَنَا تَحْتَ قَدَمَيْهِ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ : " يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ ، مَا ظَنُّكَ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللَّهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, recalling the night of migration, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When we were in the cave of Thawr, I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "If any one of them looks down towards his feet, they will see us below." Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Bakr! What do you think of those two, with whom the third is Allah?"
