Hadith 10998

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ " أَمَرَنَا نَبِيُّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَقْرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا تَيَسَّرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to recite Surah Al-Fatihah and "whatever Surah is easy for you" in prayer.
