Hadith 10987

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ ، وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ شَافِعٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader of all the children of Adam, and I am not saying this out of pride. I will be the first person whose earth (grave) will be opened on the Day of Resurrection, and this too is not out of pride. And I will be the first to intercede on the Day of Resurrection, and I am not saying this out of pride either.
