Hadith 10978

حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ , عَنْ شَبِيبٍ أَبِي رَوْحٍ , أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , فَقَالَ : يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , حَدِّثْنَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ , فَقَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَلَا إِنَّ الْإِيمَانَ يَمَانٍ , وَالْحِكْمَةَ يَمَانِيَةٌ , وَأَجِدُ نَفَسَ رَبِّكُمْ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْيَمَنِ , وَقَالَ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةَ : مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَغْرِبِ , أَلَا إِنَّ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَقَسْوَةَ الْقَلْبِ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ , أَصْحَابِ الشَّعْرِ وَالْوَبَرِ , الَّذِينَ يَغْتَالُهُم الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَى أَعْجَازِ الْإِبِلِ " .
Shabeeb (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a Bedouin came to Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "O Abu Hurairah! Tell us a hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." So he mentioned a hadith, saying: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Behold! Faith is among the people of Yemen, and wisdom too. And I sense the breeze of your Lord coming from the direction of Yemen. And beware! Disbelief, sin, and hardness of heart are found among those people with hair and wool, whom Satan snatches by the tails of camels."
